Before Your Appointment:

  • Avoid products that include retinols.
  • Keep away from strong exfoliators and any at home peels.
  • Do not use spray tans.
  • Avoid Botox or fillers.
  • Try not to pick at any blemishes.

During Your Appointment:

  • It is important to discuss your lifestyle with your esthetician. Do you travel? If so, where? What is the climate? These details are important so we can treat your skin accordingly. For example: If you’re going skiing, we know you’ll be at a high altitude and dry, so we will use tons of oxygen therapy. Or if you’re going on a beach holiday where you’ll be exposed to a lot of sun, we will avoid a peel.
  •  Likewise, it is also important to tell you esthetician about any changes in medications. Specifically anything that would create a hormonal reaction, as well as change in diet.
  • As estheticians, it is our job to recommend products for your specific needs. It’s important that you help us by maintaining your progress at home. It speeds up the results and greatly improves overall skin health.

After Your Appointment:

  • Drink a lot of water.
  • Wear sunscreen EVERY DAY.
  • Stay out of the sun!
  • Leave you face clean of make up a few hours after your appointment.
  • Avoid picking and or touching treated areas. -Gina Mari for THE WIFE
