TarynCoxTheWife.Com CBS News Feature

I find it shocking that a news station doesn’t fact check before airing a story to the public… So here a few corrections they got wrong in the segment above…

  • The Family I work for lives in Hancock Park NOT Encino
  • I did not say “Freshen up your make and take off your husbands shoes when he comes home.” That is a quote from an article I posted from a 1954 Home Economics text book I found comical.
  • I do not cook or do laundry in vintage dresses.. Unless I just happen to be wearing a vintage dress.

Do not worry, anyone who regularly reads your blog knows what “The Wife” is really about. You look absolutely flawless in the interviews!!

Agree! I am getting married in less than 2 months and I have used many of your tips on my fiancé and he loves them! I am very excited to become a WIFE and build a beautiful home full of love, great meals, lots of entertaining and a happy husband.

I had the same reaction to my parents’ split. Broken homes breed a desire for a whole family. Long live the WIVES! <3

P.S. You look Fabulous!

The reporter put a spin on your blog representing the thinking spawned from the womens movement. brainwashed to think feminity, creating beauty, and keeping a home minimizes a woman, the women’s movement taught us to think an evolved woman has to posses a man’s attributes. Your blog celebrates what it is to be feminine serving your home and community from a very powerful, confident place.

Dear Taryn,

I just wanted to apologize for any harsh comments I have put onto your blog before (refering to that song about curlers in the hair, and needn’t try any more) I’m unfortunately a very opinionated person who tends to lash out before I think about what I’m saying or how it would effect one (such as yourself). Anyways I love your blog, and enjoy all the things you put on it, and am certainly for following guidlines on how to become the WIFE I’ve always wanted to be. Thanks for your dedication to your blog, it must be hard to update it as often as you do with such a busy life.
Well take care, and all the best, looking forward to reading your next blog post!
