I’ve always loved Chanel but must say that from these photos, it looks like the line has a “Chanel for H&M” vibe. The prints are terrific but those unflatteringly boxy jackets and the helmet hats? Perhaps on a runway but as a marketable item? I wouldn’t wear them and doubt if you’ll see many others sporting them either. A few of the more fitted coats seemed enviable and I loved the nubbly texture of the knits but this isn’t their greatest output even though the skinny, thigh-high boots should make every anorexic with a trust fund jump for joy. They might do well to stop pandering to the post-adolescent daughters of oligarchs and pay a bit more attention to the women who would prefer to look elegant rather than over-the-top “I’ve-got-the-money-to spend-and-it’s-all-on-my-back” crowd!
I doubt Coco Chanel would have liked this collection……
Terrible…..even the accesories are off
