September 17th, 2009 — About Me, pets
When my dear friends, Gabby and Noah mentioned they had no one lined up to watch their 6 month old puppy, Poppy, I gladly volunteered. With my maternal instincts in tact I picked up Poppy Friday evening, just in time for Gabby, 9 months pregnant to be induced into labor Sunday night…. Ironically over Labor Day Weekend! Haha!
What joy this little dog has brought into My life. My sheer happiness for the last two weeks has come from this teenie tiny puppy, Poppy. I very quickly discovered that her and I share very similar personalities, which made for great chemistry for the two of us to get along. Not once did Poppy have an accident in the house, not once did she bark…. Needless to say she made the perfect house guest. Her Charismatic behavior and expressions made me laugh out loud dozens of times through out the day. Each time making my heart smile… Life was better with Poppy in it.
Sadly last night…. after postponing her return home three times because I could part ways with her cute face…. Poppy had to go home thus returning back to normal life. I miss her soo much!

Pets Fly in the main cabin Not in the cargo hold.
A Trained Pet Attendant is always monitoring your pet.
We make sure there is plenty of fresh, cool air at all times.
Pets are never left unattended in a warehouse or on a ramp.
No need to buy a pet carrier, we provide it FREE of charge.
Peace of mind that your pet is in the hands of pet professionals.
If you’re delayed don’t worry; your pet is in good hands.
1. Drop your pet off
at our Pet Lounge, located at the airport. You must check in your pet no later than 2 hours before take off. If you choose, you may check in your pet up to 72 hours before the flight. We’ll be happy to board your pet at our PAWS Lodge until the flight.
2. Potty Breaks
are very important to your pet. With the human airlines, your pet could be made to hold themselves for a very very long time. Pet Airways monitors the last time your pet had a potty break, and makes sure that they get regular potty breaks along the way. This means that it may take us longer to get to where we are going, but the care of our pawsengers is our first priority.
3. Pets board the plane
and our Pet Attendants make sure they’re all comfortable and that they, and their pet carrier, are secure.
4. A Pet Attendant
monitors and checks the comfort of all pawsengers every 15 minutes during the flight. After landing, pets will be disembarked, given a potty break, and will be available for pickup at the Pet Lounge.
5. Pick up your pet
at the Pet Lounge at your destination, knowing he or she has traveled comfortably and safely in the main cabin of our plane. If you cannot pick up your pet that day, we will be happy to board your pet overnight at the PAWS Lodge.

Tools and Materials
Easy to make and sent with love and care!
Download and print pet announcement template; cut out. Print your new pet’s name and other information on cardstock. (You may be able to make two cards from one sheet of cardstock, depending on the template you’ll use.) Hold the cardstock, type-side facing you, against a window and place the template over it; the light shining through the paper should help you position the template properly, so the message is straight and centered. Trace the template onto the cardstock; cut out. Erase pencil marks, as needed. Place a ruler across the animal’s back (where the card’s fold will be), and run a bone folder alongside it to score the cardstock; fold to create card. - Martha Stewart
