Easter: French Eggs

Easter, French Eggs

What You’ll Need:

Directions:

  1. Start by prepping your eggs. I blew the yolks out of mine and rinsed the insides with water and vinegar so I can save them for next easter. But you could hard boil them as well.
  2. Print the stencils I created so you can trace them, or draw your own shapes, keep in mind the size of the egg.
  3. Use your razor blade to cut out the shape.
  4. Remove the backing of your stencil. Gently place the stencil (adhesive side down) on the egg. You will need to shift it around a bit to keep the shape of the stencil. Once you have it where you like it smooth the stencil down so there are no bumps or bubbles around the edges. You want clean lines!
  5. Paint the stencil. I did two coats of paint on some of my fruits. It just depends on the color. Remove the stencil before the paint dries, otherwise it has a tendency to peel up the paint.
  6. With a paint pen or permaent marker make additional detial (I added the dots and stems)
  7. If you’d like to write the names of your fruit in french I used this translator here! (I took Espanol in high school, comprende?) -Thealisonshow.com
