On May 14th, Sotheby’s will be hosting a sale in Geneva, Switzerland of ‘Magnificent and Noble Jewels.’ The star attractions at auction will be jewels from the collection of the legendary Italian actress, Gina Lollobrigida. The auction will feature important Bulgari jewels of the 1950s and 1960s, worn by Miss Lollobrigida at landmark moments in her career. These were also highlights of the international touring exhibition, “Bulgari – 125 Years of Italian Magnificence in 2009-2012.”  They include an extraordinary Bulgari diamond and 18k gold demi parure necklace set and a Bulgari ruby, emerald and diamond 18k gold ring, circa 1980.
